About Our Lab
The OnlineBabyLab studies how infants and children grow and develop over time. In contrast to other studies, we want to know how children grow and learn within the context of their natural environment – their own homes. Therefore, we observe children in their own home while playing with their parents and their own toys.
Our researchers connect with families using video chat such as Skype, Zoom, or Facetime, and we ask parents to complete online questionnaires about their child. Our studies focus on children’s emerging motor skills and how children use these skills to interact, engage and learn.
Completing our studies online allows families from anywhere to participate and reduces the time and effort needed to be part of a research study. We hope you will join one of our studies in the future. Please contact us for more information.
